We are an independent, fundamental, King James Bible believing, bible preaching church. We are very active in carrying out the great commission. Our church has always tried to rescue the perishing through street evangelism by street preaching, tract distribution, and one on one witnessing. We also have regular jail, nursing home, and foreign ministries. We believe that a local church should have a burden to reach the lost.

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" - Mark 16:15

Gethsemane Baptist Church was founded in 1976 by Pastor Billy D. Randall. He pastored the church until December of 2003 at which time it was turned over to our current pastor, Stephen W. Williamson. We are very thankful for all of the work and ministries that Pastor Randall did for our church in the 27 years that he was the pastor.

Our church exists to preach the Gospel, win lost souls, teach families, and train faithful men for the ministry. Our church has always believed in biblical, traditional worship. We shun contemporary music, and so-called contemporary worship. We stick with the hymns of the faith, and spiritual songs that honor God instead of the flesh.

We want you to come as you are and let God work in your heart so you can leave as He is. We believe the church should be as holy as He is holy.
